G3 Systems designed and built a Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility covering 3,500m2 for the British Military at Camp Bastion, southern Afghanistan. With a minimum life expectancy of 3 years the facility features a ‘barn-style’ operating theatre supporting two operating tables, 6 High- Dependency beds, 2 Isolation beds, a CT scanner and two General Wards providing care facilities for up to 32 people. Also within this extensive complex there is an X-ray room, pathology lab and primary healthcare facilities including two dental surgeries and 6 treatment rooms.

The building also contains office space, toilets and staff refreshment areas.

G3 Systems were also contracted to provide the power plant for the complex.
