Building Services Engineer (Camp Bastion)
Duties:
An exciting opportunity has a arisen for a Building Services Engineer, based inside the NATO/UK/US military base at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan.
The role will report to the Capture Team Leader in Afghanistan and will provide design/engineering input to support the Bids & Proposals Team.
The scope of the role includes:
Interpretation of technical requirements
Design solutions and specifications of building services systems
Selection of and liaison with potential suppliers
Assistance with the preparation of work breakdown structure (WBS)
Estimation of effort and material required for Tasks
Assisting with preparation of the Technical elements of competitive Proposals

Qualifications required:
A minimum of HND in Electrical Engineering and Building Services Engineering
BS7671 Design Certification
Experience required:
Proficient use of AutoCAD
Strong experience as a Building Services Engineer to UK/EU standards - including Electrical, Safety, HVAC, Water & Waste Systems. Experience/knowledge of US standards would be advantageous
IT competency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Project and Visio
Good documentation skills, including the ability to produce design specifications and technical documentation. Previous experience in producing Technical Proposals and Bids is highly desirable
Familiarity with Building Construction would be an advantage
Experience in a military operating environment is also desirable.

Project Controls Specialist
Duties:
An exciting opportunity has a arisen for a Project Controls Specialist, working at G3 Systems head offices at Osprey Quay, Portland, Dorset, with potential overseas travel to support projects worldwide.
Key tasks required of the role are as follows:
Tracking and control of project expenditure
Control and tracking of orders and commitments
Calculation and issuing of invoices in accordance with billing schedules
Assistance to project management for the preparation of monthly project review documents and monthly spend forecasts
Analysis of the financial aspects of all bids and proposals
Ensure project conformance with regards to Company finance processes and procedures
To establish Earned Value Measurement within G3 Systems operations

An exciting opportunity has a arisen for a HVAC/Electrical Supervisor, to work as part of the Minor Works Project team in Afghanistan.
The core tasks of the role are:
Install and maintain HVAC and electrical systems across the range of G3 Systems Minor Works projects taking place in Afghanistan.
Supervise less experienced tradesmen and labour.
Coordinate labour with other tradesmen and project managers.
Prepare material lists and labour estimates for future contracts.

Duties:
Organise and maintain stores to Company policy & Procedure
Manage Stock control of all Project stores, tooling, equipment and commercial stock
Produce weekly and monthly reports on commercial stock account.
Raise and manage documentation in support and customer requirements
Raise and manage documentation in support of customer requirements and review meetings.
Manage stores personnel ensuring compliance with Company policy and best practice.
Deputising for Logistics Manager and or Camp Manager.
Any other task within competency.

Duties:
An exciting opportunity has a arisen for a Site Manager, based inside the NATO/UK/US military base at Camp Bastion, Afghanistan.
The role will supervise a number of projects operating on site to ensure that the construction meets the contracted specification.
The main tasks of the role are:
Manage the construction to the contracted specification in conjunction with the UK Project Manager and the Site Engineer.
Manage the G3 Systems workforce on site.
Act as the interface with the client on site.
Manage a safe site in accordance with UK Health & Safety regulations, ensuring suitable risk assessments and method statements are utilised.
Manage site welfare.
Support the G3 Systems/IAP Capture Team in pursuit of future project work
